This is NOT a stay to play. However, they have discounted rates on hotel rooms. When reserving they will ask you for a team code. Please view below and enter the correct one for your team.

Spectator Seating & Food

Food, tables, and coolers are NOT allowed in the facilities. Food tables are NOT allowed to be setup anywhere inside the gyms or lobbies. Players may bring in water bottles in their backpacks. Portable sport chairs are NOT allowed due to space limitations. Seating will be provided around each court. NEW this year – food trucks will be present at the convention center. Concessions will be available for sale at the athletic center. Outside food/drinks are not allowed to be brought into the Convention Center. There will be concessions stands open in the competition halls and there is a small food court in the upper level of the Convention Center.

Southern Classic Tradition

For over 20 years, teams have exchanged gifts at the beginning of matches. Gifts can be anything (candy, pencil, hair bow, CD, something special from your area, etc). Plan on 10 per team and exchanges with teams in pool play only.  For planning, most teams will play 3 teams Saturday and up to 2 or 3 on Sunday.  So plan for about 50-60  small gifts.  This is optional, but most teams participate.
