COACHING STAFF
Deystinee Lightner previously served as a coach at Hardeeville-Ridgeland Middle School (2021-2022) and with the Lowcountry Volleyball Club (2022-2023). Currently, she coaches at the Robert Smalls Leadership Academy. Deystinee's extensive journey in volleyball, from middle school to college intramurals, fueled her passion for coaching. Her goal is to guide players in their personal and professional development. Her coaching satisfaction comes from seeing individuals overcome challenges, gain clarity, and achieve their goals, knowing that I played a part in facilitating their progress and self-discovery. This seasons goal is to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Megan Schoener is a seasoned coach who has been with Beaufort Elite since the 2020-2021 season. As a former volleyball player herself, Megan has been playing since 7th grade and played all four years at Beaufort High School. She has since been coaching at Bridges Preparatory School and is now in her second year as Head Coach for our 14U team. Megan's experience on the court has allowed her to develop a unique coaching style that emphasizes skill-building at all levels. She takes pride in watching her players grow and develop in the sport of volleyball, both on and off the court.
Megan Schoener
Jacob Pusateri began his coaching journey in 2016, with coaching experience at Campo Verde, Queen Creek, Cherry Point, and South Texas Little League. He is also a former volleyball player at St. George. He played from 2008-2013, He currently serves in the United States Marine Corps. Jacob's coaching passion lies in teaching and mentoring young athletes. This season, his goals encompass enhancing skills, imparting valuable life lessons, and achieving victory.

Katherine Holofchak brings college coaching experience to our club. During her time coaching at Randolph College, she significantly contributed to the program, culminating in a record-breaking senior season. Her versatile college-level training, encompassing every position, helps her recognize and develop individual players' strengths and weaknesses, both on and off the court. With six seasons as an Assistant Coach at Randolph College, roles at E.C. Glass High School, and HOV Club, she adapts her coaching style seamlessly. Beyond the court, Katherine seeks national and Olympic-level professional development and imparts her knowledge in clinics and camps. She empowers players to understand the "why" behind every move, fostering independent thinking and love for volleyball.

Daniel Kline is a highly dedicated coach with Beaufort Elite. As also the current head coach for both the Whale Branch High School volleyball and track teams. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to his role, and is deeply committed to helping his players achieve success both on and off the court. Daniel is constantly seeking new strategies and techniques to help his players improve, and tailors his coaching approach to meet the unique needs of each individual athlete. When he's not coaching, Daniel can often be found playing the drums as part of a local band. His many talents make him a valuable asset to the Beaufort Elite coaching staff.

Daniel Kline
Roger Wilson is a seasoned volleyball coach with nearly 20 years of experience under his belt. He first got involved with the sport while watching his daughter, Megan, play throughout her school years and eventually fell in love with volleyball. Being the owner of Roger Wilson Construction Company, a local business located on St Helena Island, he has successfully brought a professional coaching tenure to our club. Roger has coached at multiple levels and organizations, including Lady’s Island Middle School, Bridges Preparatory School, Beaufort Academy, and Beaufort High School, along with club experience at our club and Low Country Volleyball.
Roger Wilson
Mary Grace is a standout in the volleyball community. She brings playing experience from Pinewood Preparatory School, where she earned SCISA All-Region, All-State, and South All-Star team honors, and was co-awarded SCISA Class AAA, Region III MVP her senior year.
At the University of Alabama, Mary Grace excelled on the Women’s Club Volleyball Team, serving as Fundraising Chair, Vice President, and President. She also brings coaching experience with all age groups. Just this last season, she was named All-Region Coach for her work with a 17 Power team and assisted with a 15 Power and 15 National teams. She brings extensive experience and a proven track record, poised to elevate our program.

Mia Debardelaben brings many years of volleyball experience to our club. Once a former Battery Creek, BVC, LCVC, and Southern Wesleyan University volleyball standout (2014-2021), now coaches with the passion instilled by her mentors. She aims to impact her players on and off the court, nurturing their love for the game. Mia's current season goal is to build trust, teamwork, and camaraderie among her team. She believes that success in volleyball hinges not only on skills but also on the collective dedication to shared objectives.

Karson Davis, a seasoned volleyball player, joins us this year fresh from the volleyball court. Her coaching journey commenced with Texas Fierce Elite in 2021 and continues through 2023. With a solid volleyball background, including stints at the University of Louisiana Monroe, the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley, and Benedictine University Mesa, Karson's genuine passion as a coach is sharing her wealth of knowledge with the next generation, finding great fulfillment in their achievements. Her aim for the season is to strike a balance between skill execution and the enjoyment of the game.

Greg Crosby is a seasoned coach with over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages. With a background as an Athletic Director and experience working at a training facility for volleyball and soccer during the Summer Olympics, he is a valuable asset to Beaufort Elite. Additionally, as a USTPA Tennis Pro, he brings a unique perspective to his coaching approach. Greg is a devoted coach who shares his passion for the sport with his two daughters, who also play for the club. He is committed to meeting the psychological and physical needs of each player to help them maximize their growth on and off the court.

Greg Crosby
Torri McCullough also known as "Coach Mac", is a renowned volleyball coach in Beaufort County with almost a decade of experience as Head Volleyball Coach and boys' varsity basketball coach at Battery Creek. He now works as a Guidance Counselor at Bluffton's River Ridge Academy while coaching the school's volleyball and basketball teams. With his unique coaching approach, Coach Mac not only focuses on improving his players' skills but also shapes their character and instills valuable life skills. Elite is proud to have Coach Mac on their coaching staff, where his expertise and experience will help players become well-rounded athletes on and off the court.
